MARCOSES WERE NOT CONVICTED OF ANY CRIMINAL CHARGES

Former first lady, Imelda Marcos was convicted of corruption charges by the Sandiganbayan anti-graft court. Imelda Marcos was found guilty of seven violations of Republic Act 3019, also known as the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act. The Marcoses have also lost several foreign cases involving ill-gotten wealth.
